The New York Designer for the Avia hotel Colum McCartan commissioned the Angela Tirrell when Bay Area Art Consultant Chandra Cerrito sent an image of a small oil painting to Mr. McCartan's office. Both he and the hotel owners felt the piece spoke aptly of California, and thus a [mural was created].
